Making Northeast Ohio Communities Safer

This invitation has been well circulated, but just in case you missed it!

2015 Summit on Making Northeast Ohio Communities Safer

On behalf of the Northeast Region of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, I’d like to extend an invitation to you to attend the 2015 Summit on Making Northeast Ohio Communities Safer. Last year’s Summit at Faith Family Church in North Canton, Ohio, was a remarkable success. Over 1,000 people – corrections staff, community partners, public officials, returning citizens and other interested parties – attended workshops and made connections. This year’s Summit will take place on September 24, 2015, at The Word Church in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. The theme of this year’s Summit is “Getting Our Bodies and Minds Ready to Live and Work.” Once again the Summit will feature an opening session with guest speakers, workshops on a variety of innovative practices and programs and an exhibition of booths to make more connections. In addition, this year’s Summit will also include a youth track! The youth track will allow young people from our communities to interact with each other and with agencies and organizations that serve them. Registration begins at 8 AM. We hope to see you there!
